Here's a summary for the "Teenagers and Texting" article (click here for original). Note the use of linking/transition words.
Texting is a simple, cheap way to stay in touch with classmates and friends. It is also less intimidating than talking. However, texting can result in many problems. For example, access to texts at night disrupts sleeping. In addition, constant texting can cause hand injuries, particularly to the thumbs. Furthermore, texting during class time causes students to lose concentration and stop listening to the teacher. Moreover, the ease of texting leads to students being unable to make their decisions, thereby making them less independent. Finally, as texting uses abbreviations, this can lead to poor development of spelling.

What makes you happy?
JiaJia's reply was fantastic. Here it is:
"I think having a job and a lot of money will make me happy because you can travel to other countries and buy as much stuff as you want. You can buy a ticket to the concert and meet your favourite artist without anyone saying that ‘you are wasting your money’.You can take care of your family because you can give them whatever they want.I heard a lot of people said that ‘money can’t buy your happiness’ but everything that makes me happy needs money to buy it.I think i’m not old enough to understand those words because i haven’t seen the world as much many adult.Maybe when I get older I will change my mind."
